Open Rides Practice
Open Practice Rides are a great way for you to keep your riding skills sharp. These are low cost and do not require any membership fees other then our gate fee. Anyone can ride, No AMA or District 15 member ships are required.
Here are the general guidelines for attending our Open Practice Rides.
- Helmet and goggles, Boots that cover the ankle, Pants and long sleeve shirt are required to enter the track. If you do not have a long sleeve shirt we can sell you one of our club Long sleeved T-Shirts. We do recommend chest protectors and gloves but that is optional.
- No track cutting at any time. This is for everyone's safety. You must follow course all the way out to exit track. No circling to try that "one jump" again.
- As we get more riders we group them by similar skill level and by size and type of bike. If you prefer a different group then the one your bike is assigned you can request to be put in with larger bikes but never can you put into a lower size bike group. Our decisions are final.
- Idle speed is required when not on track. Pit riding will not be allowed. No warnings.
- All other track rules must be followed or you will be asked to leave. Any intentional dangerous act will get you kicked out and barred from future attendance to our club track.
- Help and assistance is always available from one of our club members. If you are not sure what is going on, ask them we will have bright safety yellow shirts or other markings.
- Practice starts at 10:00am and goes to 4:00pm.
- You must sign a Release form before you can enter track.
- Minors require both Parents signature on Release forms.
- We can not take credit cards at this time.
